A truly timeless classic…

Product Description

With a chunky, solid cast brass buckle in traditional Buxton shape, Brantwood is a truly timeless classic.

Many leather belts – even handmade ones – are stitched with a simple arrangement of stitches just behind the heel bar, a method which weakens the leather by creating perforations running across the width of the belt. The leatherworkers of old understood that it is preferable to stitch belts together with two parallel seams, and this is the way I’ve made Brantwood. Of course this method requires more care, but Brantwood is a belt that you’ll wear for years and years to come, so I think it’s worth the extra time.

In every way, Brantwood is faithful to the time honoured ways of making top quality belts, with its Gothic arch-shaped end, leather keeper, and oval holes for the tongue. Standard width of 1½”.

Additional information

When ordering a belt, please provide a waist measurement in either inches or cm (if buying online, this can be done via the 'Order Notes' box at the Checkout). To get the right measurement, pass a soft tape over your trousers around your waist; this will normally be a larger measurement than the waist measurement given in trousers and jeans. I will make your belt to fit the measurement provided, with holes providing up to 60mm adjustment either side.
